Chat is the first thing you see when you open webAI.

Open webAI

You land on Chat: a prompt box with your recent conversations close at hand. Chat is the headline destination in the left sidebar.

Type a prompt and send

Your reply streams in. Every conversation is kept as a thread you can return to later from the Chat home or the sidebar.

Apply a skill

Click + in the prompt window and select a skill from the skills dropdown to shape how the run behaves.
Prefer speaking? Click the microphone in the prompt window, say your question, then click Send. See Chat for details.
Need current information from the web? Switch to Online in the prompt bar before you send, webAI searches the internet and includes citations in the answer. See Chat for details.
