Appearance sets the theme for webAI. Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then Settings, then Appearance.

Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then Settings, then Appearance.

Pick a theme

Click System, Light, or Dark. The app switches to that theme. The preview on the card is not a separate control.
System follows your device’s light or dark setting, and updates when that setting changes. Light stays light. Dark stays dark. Those two do not follow the device setting after you pick them.
The Appearance row on the account menu sets the same choice. Changing it in either place updates the other.
