Click > More in the sidebar to open Applications. That tab is where you open Messages, Contacts, and Knowledge Manager. Messages is pinned in the sidebar by default, so you can open it without going to Applications first.

What you can do

  • Click > More in the sidebar to open Applications.
  • Open Messages, Contacts, or Knowledge Manager from Applications.
  • Open Messages from the sidebar, where it is pinned by default.
  • Pin an app to the sidebar: right-click an app and choose Pin app.

What’s in Applications

These apps are in Applications:
  • Messages: Direct and group conversations with your contacts. Pinned in the sidebar by default.
  • Contacts: People you’ve connected with, plus your device identity.
  • Knowledge Manager: Knowledge bases your chats and personas can draw on.

Pin an app

Pinned apps appear under Pinned in the left sidebar, so you can open them without going back to Applications.
  1. Click > More to open Applications.
  2. Right-click an app (or open its options menu).
  3. Click Pin app.
To unpin, right-click the app again and click Unpin app. You can also unpin from the Pinned group in the sidebar. Messages is pinned by default. Apps that already have their own sidebar row, such as Chat, Personas, and Artifacts, cannot be pinned, because that would duplicate the row they already have.
