System is where you check the version, manage updates, see this computer’s tier, and reset the app. Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then Settings, then System.

About

Version shows the build you are running. What’s New opens release notes for recent updates. Click View. If this build has no notes, the row says so. Automatic updates starts on. Leave it on to check for updates in the background and download them when they are ready. Turn it off to stop that. Click Check for updates to look now. If an update is ready, click Download and install. Click View next to Third Party Notices to read open source licenses and attributions.

This Machine

Device tier is a read-only label from this computer’s memory. It sets which features start on when you first set up webAI. Toggles you change yourself stay as you left them. If webAI cannot measure memory, it uses Tier 1. Hardware details under This Machine appear when the System Profile integration is available. Otherwise the row tells you that integration is needed.

Desktop & Context

Start on login opens webAI when you sign in to this computer. It starts on.

Diagnostics

Performance Metrics shares inference timing such as time to first token, throughput, and model load time. It starts off.

Factory reset

Factory reset cannot be undone. It clears app data on this device, including settings, chats, browser history, indexed folders, saved websites, and sub-apps, then reloads webAI.
Network connection settings and local documents stay. To clear those, use Data & Storage.

Open System

Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then Settings, then System.

Start the reset

Click Factory reset.

Confirm

Click Continue. webAI resets and reloads.
