# Draw a diagram

> Pick a Draw skill in Chat so a diagram lands on the canvas.

You want a picture of a flow or system on the canvas, not only prose. Open **Home**, type `/` in Chat, and pick a Draw skill. The drawing lands in the center. Chat still holds the explanation.

**1. Open Home**

Click **Home** in the left sidebar. Chat is on the right.

**2. Pick a Draw skill**

Type `/` and choose **webAI Draw: Diagrams**. It applies to that message.

**3. Send a bounded ask**

Send a process or sequence you want mapped, such as `Map the steps from a support ticket to a resolved reply.` Click the send icon. Chat writes the explanation. The diagram opens on the canvas.

**4. Use the drawing**

Click a step to read more. **Pin to canvas** keeps the view while newer ones still arrive. You are done when the diagram is on the canvas.

The same `/` pick also lists **webAI Draw: Systems** for a network or pipeline, **webAI Draw: Plots** for an equation, and **webAI Draw: Anatomy** for a cutaway of a mechanism. A prompt can also draw when you ask for a visual. Picking a Draw skill asks for that style.

> Managing skills, including ones you create later, is on [Skills](https://developers.webai.com/using-webai/skills.md). The four Draw skills are also on [Canvas](https://developers.webai.com/using-webai/canvas.md#webai-draw).
