# Brex

> Read cash balances, card expenses, cards, and budgets on your Brex account.

Sign in with Brex to read cash balances, card expenses, cards, and budgets on your own company's Brex account. Read-only: payments and transfers are not offered.

You ask in Chat. The model picks the tool. Tool names show in **Recent tool actions**. You do not type them.

## MCP calls

**brex\_get\_current\_user** `read`

Identifies the Brex user that owns the connected token.

**brex\_list\_accounts** `read`

Lists cash (and card, when allowed) accounts with current and available balances.

**brex\_list\_card\_expenses** `read`

Lists card charges (merchant, amount, category, status, memo), optionally by date range or user.

**brex\_list\_cards** `read`

Lists cards with owner, status, last four digits, and spend limit. Does not return full card numbers.

**brex\_list\_budgets** `read`

Lists budgets with name, period, limit, and status (admin accounts only).

**brex\_get\_my\_spend\_limit** `read`

Returns your own monthly limit, remaining spend, and per-card limits.
