# Apple

> On-device connectors for Calendar, Contacts, Mail, Messages, Notes, and Reminders.

On-device connectors for the Mac apps below. They use this computer's data, not a cloud OAuth token. macOS may ask for Automation, Full Disk Access, or other privacy permissions the first time.

Each Apple app has its own **Write action** switch in [Settings → Connectors](https://developers.webai.com/settings/connectors.md). Turn it off to keep that app read-only.

You ask in Chat. The model picks the tool. Writes wait for your approval unless you set that app to **Always allow**. Tool names show in **Recent tool actions**. You do not type them.

### Apple Calendar

**apple\_calendar\_list\_calendars** `read`

Lists calendars in the Calendar app so you can pick a name before creating or searching events.

**apple\_calendar\_search\_events** `read`

Searches events on this Mac (defaults to the next seven days).

**apple\_calendar\_create\_event** `write`

Creates an event with a start and end.

**apple\_calendar\_update\_event** `write`

Updates an event found by search. Only fields you change are updated.

**apple\_calendar\_delete\_event** `write`

Deletes an event found by search.

### Apple Contacts

**apple\_contacts\_search** `read`

Finds people and returns phone numbers and emails. Use before texting, emailing, or inviting someone you name.

**apple\_contacts\_get** `read`

Reads one contact card by id from search.

### Apple Mail

These calls use the Mail app on this Mac.

**apple\_mail\_search** `read`

Searches recent messages in a mailbox (Inbox by default).

**apple\_mail\_get\_message** `read`

Reads one message by id from search.

**apple\_mail\_send** `write`

Sends email through Mail.

### Apple Messages

**imessage\_list\_chats** `read`

Lists recent iMessage conversations (title, handle, last message).

**imessage\_search\_messages** `read`

Searches iMessage history (needs Full Disk Access).

**imessage\_send\_message** `write`

Sends an iMessage to a phone number or Apple ID email.

### Apple Notes

**apple\_notes\_search** `read`

Searches Notes for a note or something you wrote down.

**apple\_notes\_get** `read`

Reads one note by id from search.

**apple\_notes\_create** `write`

Creates a new note.

**apple\_notes\_append** `write`

Appends text to an existing note.

### Apple Reminders

**apple\_reminders\_list** `read`

Lists or searches reminders: what is on a list, what is due.

**apple\_reminders\_create** `write`

Creates a reminder.

**apple\_reminders\_complete** `write`

Marks a reminder complete.
